Joseph William

Today Lil' Joey came home! He is sooooooo adorable. Ben was rather shocked when he first saw baby Joey and then wanted to hold the baby. (I wrote more about his birth and stuff on the post below this one.)

Ben is quite intrigued by Joseph:

The next few pictures were taken at the hospital:

Watching Joe arrive:

Holding him:

Ben waiting patiently (well sort of patiently) for a turn:

The hospital sent home a little cake and we weren't going to put any candle in it at all, because Rose has been repeating that he is "zero", but then John Paul found a '0' candle, and he stuck it in and we wished baby Joe a happy birthday:

These are such amazing pictures!! I love seeing everyone--especially his big siblings -- holding him. (I can't believe that Benny is now a big brother!) It didn't click until seeing the pictures, but Joey is the seventh child of a seventh child--how cool! And I must say, he is one exceptionally adorable newborn.

Welcome to the world, baby Joey!

We are so happy that Joey is safely here! Ditto to everything that Aunt Cathy said in her comment. Joseph William is very well loved and will have an exciting time ahead of him in the "Ant Hill"!
