Our Benny Boy

Well we didn't end up closing on the house yesterday, (Thursday), because the bank still needs the deed from the Sheriff sale.

So since we don't have any more news on the house, I thought I would post some pics of Ben and let you all know how he's doing.

^^One day Ben got into a box of cornstarch. That was a big mess! And he was so proud of himself, it was cute!

^^Ben absolutely LOVES shoes. It doesn't matter who's shoes they are. He just loves to walk around the house in shoes. Sometimes he isn't even in the same two shoes. It's adorable!

He has also finally started talking. He says "baby" "kiss" "Grandma" "Papa" "Da-da" "Ma-ma" "Daddy" "That" "What" "Uh-oh" "Hi" and "Bye". Three of his best words are, "Guys" "Ya-ya"(Cecilia) and my Mom's favorite, (just joking), "Barbie". He might say a few other things, but he doesn't say them often enough to really understand what he is saying.

I was reading to him before he went to bed tonight and we were reading, "Adam Adam, what do you see?" When we read that to Rose she would always kiss the picture of Mary holding baby Jesus. So I told Ben to kiss the picture, he did and then he said,
"Kiss, kiss, baby!" It was so sweet! Of course then he had to kiss every picture after that. :)

Another thing he loves is outside. If anyone is going in the back yard or front, he runs up to the door and points. Or he gets his shoes or coat. And when someone is leaving the house he runs to the window and presses his face up against it and calls out,
"Bye, bye."

That's about it for now! We love you and miss you all!!!

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Last Saturday York had it's annual St. Patrick's Day parade. Unfortunately, my camera batteries died right away, but it was fun! Here are some pics I managed to take before the batteries went out:

The last picture is funny, Rose was bored half way through, I think she enjoyed the popcorn and hot chocolate more then the actual parade.

Dress Up

Can you tell Rose dressed her self? ^^

Rose loves dress up and goofy faces. She is really hilarious sometimes, and her facial expressions are so funny! She also rolls her eyes a lot, a teenager in the making! (The other day she wanted to play with my Mom's cell phone. When asked why she answered, "I want to be like Gabriella in Highschool Musical!" She is too funny.

Family Game Night

Family Game night is a favorite in our family. This time Max was finally old enough to play monaploy by him self. He had beginner's luck. He won the entire game with more money then the bank by the end. He was very funny.

Grammy's Birthday!!

On February 9th Grammy had her birthday! It was that morning that Ben started saying, "Happy Birthday". Uncle Pat and Aunt Katie sent Grammy a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and the smiley face balloon. Then we had cake and ice cream and gifts!

Olive Garden Get Away

In early February Grammy, my Mom, my Dad and I went to Olive Garden for lunch. It was a nice lunch together.

Of course knowing my Dad he had to be funny!

A warm day!

We had a very warm day at the beginning of Feb. We went to one of our favorite parks and played in the stream, (well not really, we just jumped from rocks to rocks). It was fun and wonderful! (And muddy!)

A Birthday!

On January 20th we celebrated my Dad's birthday. Beth came over and we had cake, ice cream and gifts!

It was fun!

PICTURES!!!!

YAY! I finally got the computer to read the memory card and now I have to post pictures!

So I will try to get them up in order.

First we had a wonderful visit with Aunt Lorrie and Uncle Fred and Jen, Lydia, and Alexandra in January.

We celebrated Cecilia's eleventh birthday with them. Ben and Lydia had a blast playing together and sharing sippy cups. After chasing them around and switching back the cups, only to have them exchange again, we gave up.

Lydia is such a doll! And it was our first time seeing little Alexandra, she was so cute! I can't believe we didn't get any pictures of her!

We had a very nice visit!

ONE MORE TRY!!! (And a little trouble with paint)

Yesterday started out normal but then two things happened. The first was bad, and the second, awesome!

Firstly yesterday morning three of my younger siblings, (I'm not going to say who), pulled out a can of blue paint from my dad's work shop. They painted the back of our shed, the side of our house, a sled, part of our fence and some of our bricks on our brick patio. Then Rose and our little cousin Emily found the paint that my siblings had left open and painted a tree, bushes and the ground, oh and their shoes.

On a MUCH happier note the house we are hoping to buy is back on the market after going to a sheriff sale and stuff. So today my parents, (actually right now), are putting up another offer. The best news of all is that the house is up for the exact same amount we had originally offered! And two nights ago we started a second novina to St. Joseph, and then we found out yesterday. I will keep you all posted on the process and I will try to get my memory card to work 'cause I have some great pictures!

Computer Trouble

So in case any of you are wondering why I haven't put up any pictures in a while, (besides the picture of the house which I got online), it would be because our computer decided to stop reading the memory card. Hopefully we will figure out something soon!
