Halloween!

Now I know this a little late but, on Halloween we had a princess,(Rose), dragon, (Max), pirate,( John Paul), masquerade person, (Cecilia) and woodland fairy, (me).
Max's dragon costume had a flashlight in the mouth and red cellophane that looked like he was breathing fire in the dark.

We went to our good friends the McLain's and trick or treated in there neighborhood.

One Crazy Fall!

I have been trying to post more. But with moving, and school, I have been really busy.
So I am going to try and post things in the order of when they happened!

Our little Walker!

Ben is really a good baby! But over this past weekend he has learned how to climb up on chairs and tables. He LOVES the computer and so we have to put the key board up high and pull away the chair. He has also suddenly realized that he can feed himself and that he does NOT like it when you feed him. He has to feed himself or he screams! The last thing I will say is that he also loves the phone. So we let him play with our old phone. He holds up to his ear and talks in his little baby language! He is really cute!

Family Biking Adventure

A few weeks ago we went to the park and went on a bike ride! Max stayed behind with our dad at the playground and played baseball. But the rest of us biked three whole miles! It was a lot of fun!

Packing Up!

We were all super excited to start packing! Our first job was the family room books. It was fun and sad to pack away all the books. The task was accomplished quickly and we have since then packed just about my whole room, just about the rest of the family room. A lot of Cecilia's room and are just about done with the boys room.

I am so sorry for ignoring the blogs for so long. But with all this crazy moving stuff and cleaning and packing, I just haven't had time.

Preschool Time!

Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Emmy comes over for an hour and a half of preschool. Max, Rose and Emily have a blast playing with play dough, doing crafts, listening to stories and poems, doing fingerplays and singing songs. At the beginning of the preschool we sing a little welcome song. The top right picture shows Max standing up and showing us his smile.They each get a turn - their smiles are adorable!

The bottom pictures show them making letters with play-doh to go along with the coconut tree. We had read the book "Chicka, chicka, boom - boom." I think the kids were doing "the itsy bitsy spider or some other fingerplay in the middle two pictures above the play doh."

Normally Cecilia, John Paul and I have to do school while Mom is doing preschool with the little ones, but sometime Cecilia and John Paul sneak down and end up having as much fun as the preschoolers - especially with play doh!

I have been VERY busy lately and have neglected the blog. But I am back!

On September 9th our wonderful mother,(Teresa), had her birthday. We went to a park and had Chinese and Ice Cream cake in a pavilion. Then John Paul, me, and the birthday girl went bike riding. (Oops! I forgot, on the back of Mom's bike in the trailer were Rose and Ben!) IT was a lot of fun!

Time for Playing!

On the Tuesday after John Paul's birthday party, John Paul and me built his new k-nex. The pictures can't really capture how big and cool it was. But it was lots of fun to make and watch!

Fun at the zoo!

On Sunday with Aunt Lorrie and Uncle Fred we went to the Philadelphia Zoo. It was so much fun!

This past weekend when Aunt Lorrie met us at Applebees on Saturday, Cecilia and me went home with her. WE had a wonderful weekend at their house! Saturday night ended with a delicious dinner made be Cecilia and Aunt Lorrie and then a quick visit to Longwood gardens. The first picture is of a beautiful water lily. The second is of Cecilia and Greg at Longwood. All weekend Cecilia and me had a fun time scrapbooking. Thank you Aunt Lorrie and Uncle Fred!

John Paul's Birthday!

This past Saturday was John Paul's birthday. We celebrated it by going to the Kids Cookie Break swim party and then meeting Aunt Lorrie at Applebees. On Monday we had a party for John Paul at Manor Township park with some of the McDonnell family and Grandma, Grandpa and Beth. It was a very fun party. My mom, again, created amazing cakes! Can you tell what they are? (Hint: You have to be acquainted with Star Wars). Another highlight of the party was when Daniel, Teresa, George, Ryan, John Paul, Cecilia, Julia, Joseph and me went to the creek(which is fairly big) and took a little dip. (Actually we went full in and were swimming. ) It was lots of fun hanging out with cousins celebrating John Paul's eighth birthday! Happy Birthday John Paul!
