Spring Fun!

We hare having nice warm spring days! The trees all have buds and the first flowers are blooming. Just a few pictures I've taken over the last few weeks!

Some paint, some stupid stuck sticky carpet that wouldn't come up for the life of my Dad, and the beginnings of an apartment!

Well again today, we went to the house and worked. Read the long title of this post to get the majority of what we did. John Paul and me painted, my Dad struggled in a HUGE battle against the carpet in the upstairs bathroom, which was glued down, luckily he won! And Uncle Jim, (who by the way, is doing Grammy's apartment, in case you didn't know), started putting up the first frames for the walls! So on to the pictures:

So there you are, the next update. We have been so busy that we barely celebrated Lent. I can't believe Easter is in three days. Lent flew by this year!

More work

We have been hard at work the past few days. Yesterday John Paul and me went over there. We got off all the tile in the upstairs bathroom, (the walls were made in tile), and we pulled up all the staples that were in the living room floor and the steps. We had to leave before we could pull up the staples in the upstairs hall. I managed to take some more pics.

Work, work, work!!!!!

So after only owning the house for a grand total of two hours, my dad and brothers, (not Ben), started working in the basement. Yep, that's right, after they ate their pizza, they went down to the basement and started to knock down the walls of the tattoo parlor and John Paul and Max took up all the linoleum on the floor. After that they started ripping up the carpet, by that point my mom and I started helping. Cecilia was outside daydreaming about her new friend, Abby, the 11 year old girl that lives across the street from the new house. My two youngest siblings and Grammy had gone home after pizza with my other Grandmother.

Here are some pics of our "men" working on the basement. I think my brothers were having the time of their lives ripping up the carpets and knocking down the walls. They can't wait until they can help out more!

Our New House!

Well yesterday we bought our house!!! We are so excited! After the closing our family headed over to the house with Aunt Jackie, Grandma, Nathan, Emily and Lauren. We ate pizza and then showed them the house. I took lots of pics and so you can see the house. After lunch my Dad and brothers, (Ben NOT included), went down to the basement and started ripping out the wall to the tattoo parlor. We are going to have it all open down there, (except for my bedroom), and that's where we are going to do school. We also started ripping up the disgusting smelly carpet. We had a nice surprise in the living room, underneath the carpet was a really nice hardwood floor which we'll keep.
